New Panamax Products and Technologies on Display at ITEX 2008:

MIP-15A-EX and MIP-20A-EX
At ITEX, Panamax will introduce two new additions to its MAX® ImagePRO™ EX Series: the MIP-15A-EX and MIP-20A-EX. The 15-A and 20-A power management products offer a variety of unique technologies and circuits to protect digital office equipment from a combination of power problems including normal and common-mode EMI/RFI noise interference, ground noise, surges, spikes, and sustained over-voltages.

• Firewall for Noise™ Circuitry  — Provides enhanced neutral-to-ground noise filtration to keep digital office equipment operating at peak performance levels.
• GFCI Compatibility  — Features an improved 2-stage common-mode architecture that provides compatibility for GFCIs and NEC article 250.6. Complies with UL 1283: Electromagnetic Interference Filters.
• Automatic Voltage Monitoring (AVM)  — Acts as a gate to prevent unsafe voltages from damaging sensitive electronic equipment. It automatically detects a prolonged over-voltage and disconnects the power to the connected equipment, then reconnects it when the power returns to a safe level. It even protects the MIP-15A-EX/MIP-20A-EX unit itself.
• SignalPerfect™ Telephone Line Protection  — Two pairs of RJ-11 phone jacks are available to protect two single-line telephone modems (pins 4 and 5 protected) with fuseless auto-resetting technology and optimized circuitry to ensure a clean, clear signal.
• Wiring Fault Safety Shutoff  — Detects a miswired wall receptacle or an open-ground by monitoring the voltage between neutral and ground. If an unsafe condition exists, the MIP-15A-EX/MIP-20A-EX will disconnect the power from the connected equipment. Complies with UL 991: Tests for safety-related controls employing solid-state devices.
• Ethernet LAN Protection  — Two pairs of RJ-11/45 jacks are available to protect two Ethernet 10/100 Base-T network pathways (all pins protected).
